Condition of the anodized aluminum skin on our trailer is typical of others that have been exposed to the elements and atmospheric fallout for decades.  Rather than watch paint dry on the springs, I decided to gather up every cleaner and polish I had in the shop, and test each for effectiveness on the skin.

All were effective of cleaning the skin, but only one was effective at cleaning, removing oxidation as well as reducing staining........

Using a Scotch-Brite pad and Met-All Metal Polish, years of crud were removed, leaving a cool satin finish that we will be more than satisfied with once the entire trailer is completely worked.
