I picked up the new 3500# AL-KO axles today. Axle measurements are 69" hub face to hub face, and 51" spring center to spring center. Electric brakes are 10".
All new hardware for the install. New shackles were a little over a dollar each, so I'll be replacing those also. The bushings used in the Hadco springs and equalizers are non-standard dimensionally. A & N Trailer Parts did not have replacement bushings that would fit, so they recommended that I check with Tulsa Auto Spring Company. Tulsa Auto Spring had no problems finding the bushings in their inventory and provided me with 14 new 9/16" x 3/4" x 1- 3/4" bushings.
We received a set of cast aluminum Silver Streak emblems today. These are offered by Tom Patterson.
Below are comparison pics of the cast aluminum set from Tom Patterson and the cast plastic set from Stefan Baumann. Both are very respectable reproductions.
