Took a couple of hours this afternoon to do a little more work on the trailer. Started by checking the old Coleman heater. The exhaust pipe/ducting was rusty and had several dirt dobber and wasp nests in it. I tried to disassemple the exhaust pipe assembly, but all connections were fused together due to rust. At this point, getting the old unit removed from the trailer without damaging the unit was not possible. As I have very little confidence in this heating unit, it will get replaced with new unit. Coleman does not make LP gas heaters any longer, so some modification to the trailier will likely be necessary when the new heater is installed.
To get access to the exhaust section of the heater, stove removal was necessary. After pulling the top off of the stove, condition was such that we've decided to replace the stove.
