Aft belly skin section fabrication continued...
---------------------------------------------------
Clecos and clamps secure the forward portion of the skin.
Secured the roadside aft corner to the "C" channel.
This is a particularly challenging area as the skin curves and tapers at the aft corners. I am using 0.032" aluminum, which is somewhat more difficult to form the original 0.025" skin. I am not an expert sheet metal fabricator, and it shows in this area. I creased the aft corner while attempting to conform the corner to the "C" channel. The original belly skin had a crease at the same place, so the factory must have had trouble with this area also. I believe that this blemish will be hidden by gold trim once the shell is mated to the frame.
That's all for today.
