More frame work today........

Finished welding the cross member started on May 30, 2011.
The black tank drain passes thru the roadside outrigger. The black tank is mounted just aft of the outrigger. The upper and lower flanges are reinforced with 3/16" x 2" flats.
The support angles for the black tank are fabricated and welded to the frame. This is one continuous piece of angle. The upper horizontal flange was cut, and the vertical flange is bent to form the angle.
A filler is added to span the gap, and fill-welded.
