The kitchen counter, overhead cabinets and closet were removed today.

The kitchen counter is first. The plumbing is disconnected from the sink and fixtures, and the vent pipe is cut to permit later closet removal.
Found the sink drain trap cracked, and it fell apart while attempting to loosen. A busted supply line was also found.
The back splash to the right of the sink is removed.
With the sink removed and plumping disconnected, all counter attach fasteners were easily accessible. The counter was slid away from the wall and removed. Floor rot extends from the entry to the wheel well.
The cabinets are next. The sink light and stove vent have to be removed first.
The light was removed (no pics) and the stove vent was next. The external vent box was removed first. The vent was then removed and the wiring disconnected.
The doors are removed from the cabinets, the attach fasteners are removed, and the cabinet is removed.
The closet is removed. The lower closet shelf covers the aft part of the wheel well that extends into the closet. It is disassembled and removed.
