Began gray tank cover fabrication.

We're starting with the 6 gallon tank, as this cover section will provide an attach point for the section that will cover the 9 and 18 gallon tanks.
The work area is set up.... and the anodized aluminum sheet is ready for shaping.
The 6 gallon tank...
A profile template is fabricated. It is used to fabricate the larger main cover section.
The cover fits nicely....
A section is fabricated to fair around the drain...
This section does not cover the tank, so it is not necessary to match the tank contour. It is fabricated to match the original belly skin profile in this area. The LP gas line for the water heater and refrigerator will enter the trailer interior in this recessed area.
Rough fabrication almost complete. End closeouts are all that remain for this section. They will be fabricated tomorrow.
