Began mating the shell to the frame.

---------------------------------------------------

We began the process of mating the shell to the frame. Our goal this evening was to get the shell off of the saw horses and resting on the frame.

Earlier in the day I applied zinc chromate primer to the skin section that overlaps the wheel wells. There was slight surface corrosion at this skin area. I also applied primer to the attach points of the shell frames.

A level is used on the subfloor to level and true the frame. Stabilizing jacks are used at four points on the frame to tweak the frame to achieve level and true. Jacks and jack stands are then used to lift the shell off of the saw horses.

Mission accomplished. The shell is now resting on the frame. We'll try to get the shell mounted to the frame in the near future.

That's all for today.
