Two forward sections of subfloor were removed today.

The pics below show all of the hardware that holds the "C" channel and subfloor to the frame.

A 3/4" hole saw, with center drill removed, is at the right.  It is used when floor fasteners cannot be removed due to rust or fastener head damage.

The hole saw is used to cut around fasteners that refuse to budge.

Floor seams are joined with corrugated fasteners, as well as a plywood reinforcement at the underside of the subfloor.  The plywood seam reinforcement is attached with glue, and screwed to the subfloor from both the top and bottom.  The easiest and only practical way to separate this joint is with a circular saw.  Cutting thru the corrugated fasteners is not the best thing to do with your saw, but it gets the job done.

There are three subfloor sections remaining to be removed; two 4 foot sections and one 1 foot aft section.

That's all for today.
