Installed the gray and black tank level sending units; began work on "C" channel.

---------------------------------------------------

The SeeLevel sending units are 12" in length and can be reduced in length at 1-1/2" increments. For our black tank the unit was reduced to the smallest available length of 4-1/2". Sending units are registered to the tank by cutting the appropriate tab at the top of each sending unit.

The black tank is filled with water, and the sending unit is taped at the desired mounting location for testing.

The sending unit is temporarily wired to the display unit using wire nuts. With power applied, the display reads the battery voltage and water level in the tank. The initial reading is 100%, which is a good sign. The tank is slowly drained to check sender response. As the tank drained, the sender readings were dead on.

The process is repeated for the gray tanks. Of our 3 tanks, the only tank with an acceptable mount surface is the 9 gallon tank. The sending unit is shortened to 7-1/2" for this tank.

Both sending units worked great at our desired location. With locations determined, the sending units are permanently attached to the tank.

I started working on the replacement "C" channel corners this evening. Kerfs are cut in the channel to create the corner radius.

That's all for today.
