The shell was finally separated from the frame today.

---------------------------------------------------

I added a couple more vertical supports to the forward and aft bracing.  I also removed the remaining fasteners that attached the shell to the frame thru the "C" channel (no pics of this).

A bottle jack was used on the forward bracing, and floor jack was used at the aft bracing.  I slightly preloaded the shell with the jacks, then went around the trailer loosening the sealant between the "C" channel and the skin.  I continued this process (adding additional upward load with the jacks and loosening sealant) until the shell was free.  Wood blocks were used to gradually raise the shell an inch at a time...alternating between the forward and aft.  The blocks were eventually swapped for jack stands to permit additional height and stability.

The shell will be placed on saw horses tomorrow.

That's all for today.
