Got a late start this evening, so I only spent an hour or so on the project. Didn't get a lot accomplished, but something is better than nothing.
---------------------------------------------------
I am planning to put a brace across the lower door opening. The fasteners at the forward and aft door frame attach angles will not be easily accessible once the brace is installed, so they were removed
The heads of the aft frame attach fasteners were rusted, so the shanks were cut with a high speed. The fasteners were then pushed up thru the angle.
Found a pop rivet hidden under sealant on the external skin at the aft door frame. It appears that the grip length of the rivet was too log, and a shim was used under the head at installation.
The skin can be easily separated from the "C" channel in this area.
Added a couple of vertical supports to the forward and aft shell bracing.
That's all for today.
