Removed the Norcold refrigerator and cabinet this evening.

External access panel and back of refrigerator.  A lot of old dirt dauber and wasp nests in here.

Removed the refrigerator from it's cabinet.  The refrigerator is not original to the trailer.  The original was obviously much smaller as a base shelf was MacGyvered and the original cabinet was hacked...errr...enlarged to permit installation.  The outer wall of the aft left wheel well was cut and removed to provide a resting place for the back of the shelf, and for additional clearance for the top back of the refrigerator.

A large section of the floor under the water heater is rotted out.

We were told that the original owner (we're the third owners) lived in the trailer for a period of time, and was a heavy smoker.  The pic below is an area of the ceiling the was enclosed by the enlarged cabinet.  Notice the discolored rectangle.  The trailer walls had been cleaned from time to time in the past, but this section was not accessible.

Cabinet and refrigerator removed......

The refrigerator works while on AC, but we've not tested operation on DC (gas).  The igniter does fire when switched to DC.  We are not sure if we're going to keep this unit.  I'd like to rebuild the cabinet to original dimensions.  This would provide 8 inches of extra floor space.  Having a new, smaller unit would be nice though.  We'll see how well the Norcold cleans up and operates before making final decision.
