Finished preparing the frame for painting. I also spent some time reconfiguring the tongue jack.

---------------------------------------------------

I finished up on the tongue today. The tongue will be painted at some point after the main frame body is painted. I have yet to add the LP tank bracket, and haven't decided whether I'll need a battery tray for one or two batteries.

I thought about replacing the tongue jack, but it's in real good shape. I am going to re-clock so that the mount correctly sets on the tongue, and will reposition the crank to match the factory configuration.

The cover retaining clip is removed. The drive gear is retained on the handle shaft with a roll pin.

The roll pin is punched out. A new pin hole is drilled in the handle shaft. The gear is replaced back on the handle shaft.

The rest of the afternoon was spent cleaning up the frame with a wire brush, sandpaper and Scotch-Brite. The frame is finally ready for paint.

That's all for today.
