This is a busy time of year for us, and we're itching to get back to work on this project. I haven't made a log entry in some time now, so I thought I'd share a couple of hard-to-find items we've picked up for the Sabre.

The existing Silver Streak and Sabre emblems on the exterior of the trailer were in terrible shape. They are made of plastic and 40 years of exposure has left them cracked, faded and in many pieces. As these have been out of production for many years, finding a surviving set in reasonably good condition proved impossible. We were lucky to become acquainted with Stefan Baumann, and he was kind enough to cast us a new set of emblems. They are going to look great on this trailer.
The trunk mounted back-up lights (Signal Stat 37) are in poor condition. I managed to find replacements at Ryder Fleet Products. Signal Stat is now owned by Grote. The lights come with red lenses, so I ordered clear replacements lenses to match the units off of the trailer. Light P/N: 53032; Clear lens P/N: 91581
