Installed trailer jacks on the aft frame. Frame inverted this afternoon.

---------------------------------------------------

We managed to get the frame inverted today. Insulating and skinning the belly will be so much easier now. The trailer jacks will make it a breeze to move the frame around the hangar. Based on our slow rate of progress to date, there's a chance that the frame may be inverted for some time. Being able to move the frame around will ensure that it is out of the way when not the center of attention.

Before inverting the frame, we installed a pair of trailer jacks on the aft portion of the frame. We also re-positioned the previously installed front trailer jack to inside the frame rail.

We used a pair of front-end loaders to lift the frame. My friend Rusty was kind enough to lend a hand with his loader. A tow strap was used to lift the aft part of the frame. A chain was used on the front of the frame. Once the frame was lifted, we removed the wheels and tires to reduce suspended weight and bring the center of mass closer to the center of rotation. This made rotating the frame to the inverted position almost effortless.

We had our hands full during this process, so I didn't get any pictures of the loader hookup or the initial lift. My nerves calmed somewhat once we got the frame inverted, and I had the presence of mind to snap a few pics before lowering to the ground.

Like most trailer jacks, they roll very poorly on grass. Once the frame was manhandled into the hangar, it was very easy to move around.
